I think CCleaner is wiping my form history, because nothing shows up, but I don't know which what. Of the 4 it cleans, my guess is:

Internet Cache - No
Cookies - No, the history is in an SQLite database I think
Download History - No
Session - Maybe

Firefox
Temporary files, history, cookies, super cookies, download history, form history.

Correct, CCleaner wipes your form history

I have CCleaner v4.13.4693 . . . I have it checked to clean these four:

Internet Cache
Cookies
Download History
Session

If I un-check "Session," will it leave it? Or any of the other three?

Or, if I un-check them all, and clean manually through Firefox?

I do not use CCleaner myself, but there should be an option called "Saved form information",make sure this is unchecked.
(found a screenshot of an older version here: http://joe-riggs.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/ccleaner-firefox.png)

hmm, that was un-checked . . .

I think I went to a page, and selected to "Fill fields with the most often used entries," and it didn't do anything.

I have toggled NoScript and tried it on a page - it only prevents this reply box from showing . . .

. . . it's working now, I wonder what's going on. I'll try and keep track. Thanks for your help!

when I tried to download this add on for firefox, I got the error message that it was not updated for firefox 23.0.
This is an add on that sounds like something I'd be interested in.
Will there be an update for Firefox 23.0 soon ?
I hope so.

This add-on is compatible with Firefox version 3.0.9 upto the latest (30.0) release. You should be able to install it for firefox 23.0.
(this add-on is not available for Firefox mobile)

I agree

Hi Soyan,

The form you mentioned has the autocomplete attribute set to "off", so that explains why fields inside this form can not be filled automatically.

Also, a security feature prevents firefox from storing creditcardnumbers (since ff 4.0)
